Blake Bortles went into today’s game undefeated all-time against the Vikings in Minnesota.
He’s headed back to Jacksonville that way too.
Blake Bortles and the Jaguars defeated the Minnesota Vikings today 14-10 in the second game of the 2018 NFL preseason, and we’re that much closer to the start of Bortles’ 19-0 run in September.
Early in the game, Blake Bortles threw an interception to Vikings star Harrison Smith, but we’re currently working to confirm that the receiver just ran the wrong route and about there being multiple penalties on the Minnesota defense that simply weren’t called.
On the Jaguars next drive, Blake Bortles had a handoff that went for a touchdown to put Jacksonville up 7-3.
Blake Bortles sliced and diced Minnesota for the majority of the first half, and backup QB Cody Kessler took the field in the second half. Undoubtedly, Kessler was able to come in and preserve the win because he sits behind and learns from Blake Bortles, who is still undefeated in Minnesota.
Next week, Blake Bortles and the AFC South Champion Jacksonville Jaguars return to Duval to beat the Atlanta Falcons in the third preseason game.
Blake Bortles has never blown a 28-3 lead in the Super Bowl.
